Often finding someone to talk to and work through your difficulties with, someone who is curious to know you and discover what makes you tick, meeting you with unconditional compassion and understanding can help restore your happiness and well-being. I'm an attachment- and trauma-informed therapist, working from a psychodynamic, existential, and emotionally-focused orientation.

I come to the practice of psychotherapy after 15 years of Christian ministry and decade in the US Air Force. Through my own wrestling with trauma, difficulty, and distress, I discovered that nothing in the environment, nor circumstances or people need to change for me to feel whole and content. Finding this was like coming home to my true self, awakening to something long forgotten.

I hold five earned degrees, which include a MA in clinical mental health counseling from Northwestern University, a PhD in divinity from the University of Aberdeen, a ThM and MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a BSci in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University. I also hold a certificate in spiritual direction, and am completing advanced certificates in trauma, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), which is a couple's counseling modality, and existential analysis.

Licensed in Kentucky and Ohio, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), I seek to bring my experience to create for you a safe haven to vent, share, discover, and work through even the darkest valleys in your story to heal and become your authentic self.
